La società Beta nasce nel 1959 a Busto Arsizio ed entra nel campo del finissaggio tessile presentando il nuovo Foulard a 3 cilindri ad equipressione, con rettifica parallela (coperto da brevetto dell’ing. Spina, uno dei soci fondatori).

Questo Foulard innovativo garantisce, mediante un semplice dispositivo meccanico, la completa eliminazione della flessione nei cilindri per qualsiasi valore di pressione e di conseguenza consente di ottenere una spremitura uniforme dei tessuti anche con macchine provviste di tavola di lavoro superiore a sei metri!

Questo brevetto è stato utilizzato da molti altri costruttori una volta giunto a scadenza, ed ha subito da parte di Beta ulteriori modifiche e migliorie negli anni per consentirne l’applicazione anche ai cilindri delle Calandre: infatti questo lavoro di sviluppo ha portato alla realizzazione nel 2002 di un nuovo brevetto che garantisce la massima uniformità sia per la pressione di calandratura che per la temperatura della superficie del cilindro.

Accanto al Foulard ad alta spremitura, Beta ha successivamente aggiunto il Foulard a pressione differenziata che consente di spremere ed apprettare contemporaneamente e quindi dimezzare i tempi di lavorazione; ciascun passaggio ha una propria pressione di spremitura indipendente dall’altro passaggio.

Oltre ai Foulard ed alle Calandre, Beta costruisce Filtri automatici autopulenti, pure coperti da brevetto, impianti di lavaggio, accumulatori di tessuto, calandre per tessuti non tessuti, termofissatori, impianti tiratessuti, tutte macchine che hanno ottenuto ottimi risultati.

Nell’anno 1973 Beta si è trasferita nell’attuale sede di Legnano dove continua a produrre, grazie all’esperienza acquisita, macchine di alta qualità allo scopo di offrire ai propri clienti le soluzioni ottimali alle loro necessità.

The Beta company was established in 1959 in Busto Arsizio and entered the field of textile finishing by presenting the new 3-rolls equipressure Padder, with parallel grinding (patent by Eng. Spina, one of the promoters).

This innovative Padder assures, by means of a simple mechanical system, the absolute elimination of the rolls’ deflection under any value of pressure therefore allowing to reach an uniform squeezing of fabrics even in machines having rolls’ working width greater than six metres!

This patent has been used by many other manufacturers once expired, and it underwent further modifications and improvements by Beta during the ensuing years in order to allow its use for Calender’s rolls too: infact, this development job led in 2002 to the realization of a new patent for assuring the maximum uniformity for both the calendering pressure and the temperature of the roll’s surface.

Beside to the high squeezing Padder, Beta has then added the differentiated Padder that allows to squeeze and to give chemicals at the same time thus saving half of the working times; each nip has its own squeezing pressure, independently from the other nip.

In addition to Padders and Calenders, Beta produces automatic self-cleaning Filters, washing plants, machines for fabric accumulation, calenders for non-woven, thermo-bonding machines, plants for fabric stretch, all machines working with the best performances.

During year 1973 Beta moved to the present premises in Legnano where, thanks to the acquired experience, produces high quality machines in order to provide all customers with the best solutions to their requirements.
